what our participants say about insideout's training

“Excellent, appropriate examples and learning aids were used.”

“The presentation is the best I have ever come across!”

“A good course that really manages to present potentially confusing material in a very clear way.”

“Thank you for the information, my eyes opened to the importance of M&E.”

“It is great to work in a group and think deeply about what indicators we should use. No indicator is perfect so we were forced to think and decide on the best available tool.

“We were forced to think things through. A great intellectual challenge which will bring benefits to the people we serve.

“Demystified some of my pre-conceived anxieties regarding M&E and enjoyed the participatory manner of the workshop.

mentoring

insideout recognises that capacity building involves more than training and has mentored a number of NGO’s and CBO’s across South Africa and Africa, in developing monitoring systems and tools for their programmes or projects.

what our clients say about insideout's mentoring M&E support

“Thank you for visiting us last week to assist us with a much-needed M&E framework. It was greatly appreciated.”

“Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills with us during the training. We found the idea of M&E challenging - it challenged us to think strategically in dealing with planning and what results we want at the end of the day. It was very valuable for us to think about how we will know that that we have achieved our goals!”

“Before the training, our monitoring was terrible - we didn’t have any monitoring in place and certainly did not have any indicators. Now with every step we take we can monitor the quality of our whole programme. Thank you!”

insideout's staff is excellent – you are really specialists in this field. You really opened our eyes.”

what past interns say about internship at insideout

“For me, the most important thing to learn while I was doing my internship at insideout was to become aware of how to use my field of study in a practical environment and non-academic manner. I learnt how to practically implement what I theoretically learnt at university. I've always been impressed by the professional way insideout is working .To be introduced and involved into everything insideout was working on and to see the impact of my work always made me feel like a full member of the insideout team.”

“When I first arrived at insideout I pretty much knew less than the basics of what M&E entails. I can honestly say that after I completed my internship I feel much more comfortable with M&E concepts and feel confident to participate in discussions concerning M&E.”

“Just to thank you so much for the opportunity you have given me to complete an internship at insideout. It has been a truly wonderful experience and I have learnt such a lot about M&E for which I am very grateful! Thank you also for giving me the opportunity to work with such a wonderful team and for taking so much interest.”
